Data scientist

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, process, and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability for analysis.
  1. Implement and utilize predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze customer behavior and preferences, if applicable.
  1. Conduct analysis on product data to identify trends, patterns, and insights into what types of products sell best on our platform.
  1. Create clear, concise data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the team.
  1. Collaborate with different departments, including the marketing team, to drive data-driven decision making and strategy development.
  1. Stay updated with industry trends and developments in data science and related fields.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  1. Proficiency in Python.
  1. Experience with data visualization and Big Data processing tools.
  1. Strong understanding of database systems, SQL, data preparation, and cleaning.
  1. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets.
  1. Excellent communication skills to effectively share insights and findings with team members of varying technical backgrounds.
  1. Experience with Machine Learning algorithms is preferred but not required.
  1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Customer service associate

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries and issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  1. Communicate and coordinate with individual sellers and professional merchants on our platform to facilitate smooth transactions.
  1. Manage the customer service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  1. Develop and improve customer service policies and procedures to ensure efficient problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  1. Liaise with other departments to escalate and resolve issues that may affect customer satisfaction.
  1. Generate reports on customer service metrics and provide insights to senior management.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs.
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other relevant software.
  1. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  1. A positive, patient, and resilient personality, with the ability to handle difficult situations and maintain composure.
  1. Prior experience in a customer service role or a similar role is preferred but not required.

Java Developer

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications and services that support our platform.
  1. Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  1. Develop new features based on user requirements and feedback.
  1. Identify and troubleshoot software bugs and inconsistencies.
  1. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, ensuring robustness, scalability, and reliable system performance.
  1. Assist in the development of software and architectural documentation.
  1. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging Java frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  1. Strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with its ecosystems.
  1. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  1. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  1. Familiarity with databases, web servers, and UI/UX design.
  1. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues quickly.
  1. Prior experience in a similar role or in project development is preferred but not required.

IOS Developer

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and optimize iOS applications in Swift.
  1. Integrate iOS applications with backend services, ensuring consistent performance and functionality.
  1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  1. Contribute to the development of new features and improvements based on user feedback and requirements.
  1. Work closely with the rest of the team to align development with overall application architecture and standards.
  1. Assist in the release and distribution of app updates and new versions.
  1. Stay updated with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  1. Proficiency in Swift and understanding of iOS frameworks.
  1. Knowledge of iOS back-end services and the iOS development ecosystem.
  1. Understanding of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines.
  1. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
  1. Good teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
  1. Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required for this entry-level position.

Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, execute, and manage all marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the platform and its services.
  1. Establish and maintain relationships with various advertising agencies and other partners to execute effective promotional campaigns.
  1. Use digital tools such as Photoshop and Microsoft Suite to create compelling marketing materials.
  1. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to optimize strategies and ensure the achievement of the company's goals.
  1. Stay current with market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer interests to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  1. Contribute to the growth of our community by enhancing our brand's visibility and engagement among overseas Chinese community.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  1. Prior experience in marketing, event planning, or a similar role.
  1. Proficiency in Photoshop, Microsoft Suite, and other digital marketing tools.
  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  1. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  1. Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, allowing for effective communication with a diverse audience.
  1. Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
